محور إساسی وکلی این سورهٔ مبارکه در حقیقت، متوجه‌ساختن إنسان‌ها به این حادثه‌ی هولناک و رهانیدن آنها از بی‌تفاوتی و عدم إحساس مسؤولیت و إصلاح بینش در رابطه با مساله‌ی قیامت و نهایتاً تقسیم‌بندی إنسان‌ها بر حسب إیمان‌شان به قیامت و حوادث قیامت است.
