خشوع روح نماز است

خــشـوع : علماء معنی متعددی را درمورد مفهوم « خشوع » بعمل آورده اند که برخی از معنی آن را میتوان بشرح ذیل چنین فورمولبندی وخلاصه نمود : ـ خشوع به معنای ترس و بی‌حركت شدن اعضاء از ترس است. ـ و یا گفته‌اند: افتادن پلك‌ها و خفض جناح و تواضع است. ـ و یا گفته‌اند: سر به زیر انداختن است. ـ و یا گفته‌اند: خشوع آن است كه به این سو و آن سو ننگری. ـ و یا گفته‌اند: خشوع آنست كه مقام ومنزلت طرف مقابل را بزرگ بشماری و همه اهتمام خود را در بزرگداشت او جمع وجور كنی. ـ و یا گفته‌اند: خشوع عبارت از تذلل است. - همچنان خشوع عبارت است از آرامش، طمأنینه و وقار و تواضع، و ترس از الله و توجه به وی( تفسیر ابن کثیر ط. دارالشعب (6/414) - خشوع، یعنی در کمال ذلت و با فروتنی تمام در مقابل خداوند ایستادن( المدارج (1/502). و از مجاهد روایت شده است که گفت: « وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِینَ»: قنوت عبارت است از ایستادن، فروتنی، چشم پوشی و تواضع از ترس خداوند» (تعظیم قدر الصلاة (1/188).
