ترجمه وتفسیر سوره حدید

این سوره بدان جهت «حدید» نامیده شد که در آیۀ (25) ازآن به منافع حدید (آهن) که نقش مهم و تعیین کننده ای در شکل گیری، رشد و گسترش تمدن پیشرفته بشری دارد، توجه داده شده است. وطوریکه امام قرطبی گفته است؛ این سوره از نظر جمهور مفسران مدنی است و قولی که بر مکی بودن این سورۀ آمده است، قول ضعیف می باشد. مهمترین و اساسی ترین اهداف سورۀ حدید بشرح ذیل می باشد: ياد آورى الله تعالی و صفات او؛ تشويق به نيكوكارى با وعده هاى اُخروى؛ فراخوان عمومى به ايمان.

The one thing that offends me the most is when I walk by a bank and see ads trying to convince people to take out second mortgages on their home so they can go on vacation. That's approaching evil.
