سورہ فاتحہ کا موضوع : یہ سورہ ایک دعا ہے جو کہ اللہ تعالی نے ہر اس انسان کو سکھائی ہے جو اس کتاب کی تلاوت کرنا شروع کردے، کتاب کی ابتداء میں اسے رکھنے کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اگر تم واقعی اس کتاب سے مستفید ہوناچاہتے ہو تو پہلے خداتعالی سے یہ دعامانگو، فطری طور پر انسان اپنی دعا میں وہی چیز مانگتاہے جو اس کا دل چاہتاہے، اور اس وقت دعا کےلیے ہاتھ اٹھاتاہے جب اس کو یقین ہو کہ اس کا مقصود ومطلوب اس ذات کے اختیار میں ہے جس سے وہ مانگ رہاہے۔ لہذا قرآن کریم کے آغاز میں اس دعاکو سکھانے کا مطلب لوگوں کو یہ یاد دلانا ہے کہ اس کتاب کو صحیح راستے کی تلاش کے مقصد اور حق کے ایک سچے متلاشی کے ذہنیت کے ساتھ پڑھیں اور جان لیں کہ علم کا سرچشمہ پروردگار عالم ہے، اس لیےصرف خداسے ہدایت اور رہنمائی کی التجاکرے اور اس کتاب کو پڑھنا شروع کردے۔
