چنانی که دیده می شود، در این معاهده که میان افغانستان و ایران قبل از حاکمیت پهلوی ها(قاجار ها) صورت گرفته، چنانی که به غلط تعمیم می دهند، کلمه ی پارس یا فارس که گویا بعداً ایران شده باشده باشد، وجود ندارد. از چنین معاهداتی میان افغانستان و ایران قبل از پهلوی ها زیاد اند. در تمام آن ها چنانی که شهرت واحد سیاسی ایران جهانی بوده، همین نام(ایران) بر این کشور، اطلاق شده است. در اکثر اسناد تاریخی و رسمی قرن نوزده، از کشور ایران، نامبرده شده است.
