ترجمه وتفسیر سورة الضُّحَى

این سوره مبارکه بدان جهت «ضُّحَى » نامیده شد که کلمه آغازین آن «وَٱلضُّحَىٰ١» [الضحى: 1] است و الله متعال در آن به « ضُّحَى » که آغاز روز است، قسم خورده است تا به أهمیت این وقت مهم نورانی توجه داده باشد و نیز بدان جهت که این سوره در شأن رسول اکرم صلی الله علیه وسلم که نور محض بودند، نازل شده است. از إمام شافعی (رح ) نقل شده است که فرمود: گفتن «الله اکبر» یا «الله اکبر لا اله الا الله والله اکبر» در آخر سوره « ضُّحَى » و پایان تمام سوره‌های بعد از آن سنت است. مفسران در بیان وجه مناسبت این تکبیر گفتن نقل کرده أند: إرسال وحی مدتی بر رسول الله صلی الله علیه وسلم به تأخیر اُفتاد سپس فرشته آمد و سورهٔ «ضحی» را تماماً بر ایشان إلقا کرد و إیشان از سر شادی و فرحت تکبیر گفتند. اما إبن کثیر می‌گوید: «این روایت متکی بر اسنادی نیست که بتوان بر آن به صحت یا ضعف حکم کرد».
