مفهوم عبادت و نماز در اسلام

عبادت: عبادت اسم جامعی است كه تمام آنچه را كه پروردگار با عظمت ما دوست می دارد و به آن خوشنود می گردد، در بر می گیرد اعم از عقاید و اعمال قلوب و اعمال جوارح و همه اعمالی كه بنده را به الله نزدیك میساز. بنابراین همه آنچه كه الله سبحان وتعالی در كتابش و سنت رسولش حضرت محمد صلی الله علیه وسلم مشروع قرار داده در تعریف عبادت داخل است. کلمــﮥ عبادت در قرآن عظیم الشان بصورت کل ( 275 ) بار ذکر گردیده است. عبادت از ریشه «عَبَدَ» و به معنای پرستش و اطاعت خاشعانه و نهایت خضوع است. از ریشه عبد دومصدرعبودیت و عبادت مشتق شده‌است. عبادت را علماء به حبل متین محکمی و مستحکم در حیات فردی واجتماعی و حتی سیاسی انسان معرفی داشته است. انسان از طریق عبادت با پروردگار خویش مرتبط میشود. انسان با عبادت صادق در رحمت پروردگارقرار میگیرد ، واز یاد نه برید که با انجام وادا عبادت به عزت کامل میرسد . وجان وروحش را در معرض رحمت پروردگار قرار میدهد.«وما خلقت الجن و الإنس إلا لیعبدون» (سوره الذرایات :آیه 56) جن و انس را نیافریدیم مگر براى این كه مرا پرستش كنند » یعنى هدف از خلقت كه رسیدن انسان به كمال مطلق باشد، تنها از راه عبادت میسر میگردد.
