ترجمه وتفسیر سُورَۀ الْفِیلِ اين سوره چنانكه از نامش معلوم است، اشاره به داستان تاريخى معروفى و مشهور مى كند كه در سال تولد پيامبر بزرگوار اسلام محمد صلي الله عليه وسلم در مکه واقع شده، و خداوند خانه «كعبه» را از شر لشكر عظيم كفارى كه از سرزمين يمن سوار بر فيل آمده بودند، حفظ كرد. ياد آورى اين داستان هشدارى است به كفار مغرور و لجوج كه بدانند در برابر قدرت الله كمترين قدرتى ندارند، خداوندى كه لشكر عظيم فيل را با آن پرندگان كوچك، و آن سنگريزه هاى نيم بند «حجارة من سجيل»درهم كوبيد قدرت آنرا دارد كه اين مستكبران لجوج را نيز مجازات كند.
